The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home having a combined gross house earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined house income isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the proper Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected inside their South African website ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or intend to study in a general public university or get more info TVET college in South Africa.
